Howdy, y'all! Ever wondered what goes into creating a collection that's packed with southern charm and vintage flair? The Inspiration 🌻
It all started with a love for all things country – from wide-open fields and starry nights to classic 90's country tunes that make you want to two-step. I wanted to create a collection that embodies the spirit of the country girl: strong, sweet, and just a tad sassy. And so, the "Country Girl Collection" was born!
Design Chaos 🎨✂️
Let me tell you, designing this collection was no walk in the park. There is already so many country graphic tees out there, how was I going to be different? How could I compete? Well, in the end, I designed shirts that spoke to me. Used soft neutral colors that I loved and kept my prices lower to be competitive.
Late Nights and Coffee Breaks ☕🕒
Creating a collection isn’t just about the fun stuff. There were plenty of late nights, fueled by endless cups of coffee and a lot of determination. From perfecting the designs to ensuring each piece reflected the country girl vibe, it was a labor of love. But nothing worth having comes easy!
A Little Help from My Friends 👯♀️
Shoutout to my amazing friends and family who acted as my unofficial fashion critics. They gave feedback, and even put up with my occasional (okay, frequent) insecurity meltdowns. Their support was invaluable, and I couldn't have done it without them. 💕
Photo Shoot Planning 📸🌾
Next up: the photo shoot. I use the amazingly talented Jenna from Snapberry Photographs so luckily that part was easy. But finding models and the perfect location were another story. I ended up coming across a beautiful little ranch in my hometown and they graciously let me use their space. Friends had friends who had friends and the models came rolling in.
Launch Day Nerves 😬🎉
Finally, launch day arrived. I was a bundle of nerves, hoping y'all would love the collection as much as I did. And guess what? The response was amazing! Seeing you rock those country girl looks made all the hard work worthwhile.
