My Journey: How I Got Started Making Shirts 👕✨

Hey y’all! Ever wondered how someone with zero formal training ends up making awesome shirts? Well, buckle up, because I’m about to take you on a fun (and slightly chaotic) journey of how I got started making shirts and became self-taught. Spoiler alert: it involves a lot of trial and error, a few disasters, and a whole lot of love for crafting! 💖

My journey was not quick, it was not cheap and it was not without several errors. I watched videos and taught myself every aspect of being a small business owner from designing, making shirts and even building my own website. 

Running my own small businesses, Boots + Roots Apparel Co and Wisconsin Up, has been a dream come true, filled with creativity, independence, and the joy of building something from the ground up. 

But for me, the rewards far outweigh the challenges. It requires a unique blend of passion, resilience, and adaptability. By sharing our experiences and supporting each other, we can navigate the tough times and celebrate the successes together.
